UCD Bridging Generations - African Mentoring Programme - Launch Event
Welcome to the third year of the Bridging Generations African Mentoring Programme! This exciting programme is supported by AfSAI, UCD Alumni and funded by UCD Global.
The programme responds to the career-development needs of African students, who can face distinct barriers: limited access to established networks, gaps in local labour-market knowledge, and uncertainty around recruitment norms.
Format & Timelines:
The program will be launched on Thursday, 24 September 2026, from 6:00-8:00 pm at the new O'Connor Centre for Learning (UCD Belfield) in Room LG0.06.
During this event, we will outline the programme and introduce mentors to mentees. With the active engagement of UCD alumni and students, we aim to match mentors and mentees one-to-one for this programme.
