Join us for the second meeting of Socratic Society!

“The most common misunderstanding about science is that scientists seek and find truth. They don't — they make and test models.” – Neil Gershenfeld

Schedule:

** 6:15 PM: Opening and Introduction ** Learn the ethos of our society and the structure of our symposium.

** 6:30 PM: Resolution Presentation ** We'll introduce the resolution at hand, setting the stage for informed debate and introspection. Your initial vote will mark the starting point of our collective exploration.

** 6:40 - 7:30 PM: Structured Dialogue ** This is the heart of our assembly. Speak, listen, and reflect as each member presents their stance, supported by personal insight, scholarly knowledge, or philosophical pondering.

** 7:30 PM: Reflective Re-Vote ** After a session of thoughtful dialogue, we reassess our positions. Has the tide of opinion shifted?

** 7:40 PM: Informal Mingling ** We will move over to Gambit Lounge, where we will continue the conversation over food and drinks.
