İş Bankası sponsored the 24th GençBizz High School Entrepreneurship Program Turkey Finals, organized by the Genç Başarı Education Foundation, on June 3-4. As part of our sponsorship, we awarded a special prize from İş Bankası, announced by Mr. Hakan Aran, CEO, as a Silicon Valley trip.
The event began on June 3rd with visits to the stands of 17 finalists selected from 670 entries. In the afternoon, the finalists answered questions from the jury in five-minute segments. On Sunday, we watched the presentations of the 17 finalists on stage, followed by the jury's overall evaluation session to determine the winners.
We awarded our special prize to the Crocodele team, who stood out with their approach of integrating the physical and digital worlds and developing an ecosystem around their product rather than just a single item.
The team consists of students Through conversations, we learned that this team has been participating in coding training provided by the Ankara Governorship for the past two years, allowing them to engage with companies like ODTÜ Teknokent, Aselsan, and Havelsan at an early age. They plan to pursue university education in computer and industrial engineering fields.
We believe that their Silicon Valley visit, awarded by İş Bankası, will significantly contribute to their development.
