Future Film: New Tools Tuesday
There’s more happening in AI filmmaking right now than any one person can keep up with. The number of new tools arriving in just the last few weeks is reason enough to bring back New Tools Tuesday. We’re all exploring different things, and sharing what we’re learning helps everyone discover what’s worth trying next.
Kling 4.0, Resolve 21.1, Runway’s new editing plugins, Eleven v4, HeyGen’s latest updates, Qwen-Image-2.1, Comfy Agent, new features from FilmSpark, Novella, NOMUS, new releases from Claude and Gemini, OpenAI’s Dots and DevDay announcements, Meta’s Muse, and much, much more. There’s so much to get into.
This Tuesday is an open conversation about what’s catching our attention and where it might lead. What have you tried? What experiments have you done? What looks interesting, even if you haven’t gotten to it yet? We’ll share our impressions and ideas about where these developments could take us as editors and filmmakers.
Bring a tool you’re excited about discussing, a clip you generated, something you built, a workflow you’re testing, or an experiment that went sideways. Share your screen if it helps, and tell us what you're up to.
Questions are welcome too! Maybe you want to know how something was made, what’s worth paying for, what can run locally, or how people are putting agents to work. Whether you’ve been testing the latest releases or wondering where to start, come share, ask, or listen.
Hearing how other professionals approach these tools can open up possibilities you wouldn’t have found on your own. Someone else’s test, workaround, or unexpected result could be the thing that gets your next idea moving.
