​About Speaker

​Quang Pham had been living in Finland for years. During Covid-19, Quang moved back to Vietnam and he has built Upbase.io - a small productivity SaaS startup in HCMC.

​Quang's best-hired engineer is a graduate of Vietnam People's Security University.

​"After I interviewed him, I learned that he was from a low-income family background. He studied to become a policeman because the tuition fee is heavily subsidised. He was good at maths in high school.

​I gave him a coding challenge in Go, and he could pick up Go and solve it in a few days. If he had gone for an interview in other companies, he would have failed immediately." - Quang continued.
