​Pain Into Punchlines was born out of SPADURA — a one-person comedy special built entirely from real pain, real failure, and real life. What started as one performer's journey to turn their darkest moments into comedy became something bigger: a framework anyone can use.

​Now it's your turn.

​PIP is a 90-minute live virtual workshop where you'll learn to take the moments you've survived — the heartbreak, the embarrassment, the things you swore you'd never talk about — and transform them into powerful, authentic comedy.

​This isn't a stand-up class. It's a storytelling experience that meets you exactly where you are.

​YOUR HOST Dahéli Hall is a comedian, writer, and performer whose credits include Marvel's Wonder Man, Netflix's Dear White People, and Fox's Emmy-winning Mad TV. Her one-woman show SPADURA — about IVF and Black women's fertility — toured nationally, won awards, and became a feature comedy special. She's a SAG-AFTRA/WGA member.
