A Guided Family Formation Experience for Building Stronger Families & Intentional Legacies
Faith • Family • Finance • Future • Legacy
You can love your family deeply and still recognize that something needs rebuilding.
Perhaps communication has become strained.
Your family has faith, but there is little structure for living it intentionally.
Finances are being managed, but there is no shared vision connecting today's decisions with stewardship, preparation, inheritance, and legacy.
Certain emotional, relational, spiritual, financial, or behavioral patterns keep repeating.
Everyone is busy, but the family is not necessarily moving in one direction.
Or perhaps nothing is visibly "wrong." You simply recognize that the future you want for your family will require greater intentionality than the systems you currently have in place.
You do not have to wait for a family crisis to strengthen what holds your family together.
WHAT IS REBUILDING WALLS & RESTORING GATES?
Rebuilding Walls & Restoring Gates (RWRG) is a guided family formation experience designed to help families look beneath immediate challenges and examine the structures, patterns, values, decisions, and practices shaping life within the household.
Rather than simply responding to problems as they arise, families are guided to ask deeper questions:
What is shaping our family right now?
Where have we become vulnerable?
What have we stopped paying attention to?
Which patterns should continue, and which must end with us?
What are we intentionally building for the generations coming after us?
Using the biblical rebuilding account in Nehemiah as a framework, RWRG helps families identify areas that have become weakened, neglected, misaligned, or unnecessarily dependent on others and begin rebuilding with greater clarity, responsibility, structure, and intentionality.
WHAT COULD CHANGE FOR YOUR FAMILY?
Through this experience, you will be guided to:
See what you may have stopped noticing.
Identify areas of family life that have become neglected, weakened, vulnerable, misaligned, or simply accepted as "the way things are."
Strengthen personal responsibility within the family system.
Healthy family governance begins with people who can take responsibility for their own choices, habits, boundaries, commitments, and contributions.
Rather than beginning with, "Who needs to change?" participants are encouraged to first ask, "What is mine to take responsibility for?"
Bring faith into everyday family life.
Move beyond faith as something your family professes toward convictions and practices that influence decisions, relationships, priorities, stewardship, and direction.
Create greater clarity around money and stewardship.
Consider how earning, spending, preparation, stewardship, inheritance, and legacy fit within the larger vision you are building as a family.
Recognize patterns before they become inheritance.
Identify emotional, relational, financial, spiritual, and behavioral patterns that should not simply be handed to another generation.
Preserve what is worth carrying forward. Interrupt what should end with you.
Build stronger family systems.
Develop greater intentionality around communication, accountability, values, roles, rhythms, boundaries, responsibilities, and decision-making.
The intention is to move families to think beyond the present generation, and move beyond asking only:
"How do we solve what is happening now?"
and begin asking:
"What are we building now that should still be serving our family when we are no longer here?"
The goal is to rebuild.
THIS MAY BE FOR YOUR FAMILY IF...
You are raising children and want to become more intentional about what they inherit beyond money.
You and your spouse love one another but recognize that your household needs clearer systems, direction, rhythms, or shared priorities.
Your family is navigating transition, financial pressure, parenting challenges, changing dynamics, communication difficulties, or recurring patterns.
You are successful professionally but recognize that success outside the home does not automatically create structure inside it.
You want your faith to become more visible in the way your family actually lives, decides, communicates, manages resources, and prepares for the future.
You are thinking seriously about legacy and want to preserve what is healthy while intentionally interrupting patterns that should not continue.
Or perhaps your family is doing well, and you believe a healthy family should not wait for a crisis before becoming intentional.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE
RWRG combines guided teaching, personal reflection, family systems conversations, practical assessment, facilitated discussion, and actionable rebuilding exercises.
Participants are encouraged to examine themselves first, identify areas requiring attention, recognize the patterns influencing the household, and begin translating insight into practical change.
This is not about creating a perfect family, but about developing a family that is increasingly:
Aware.
Aligned.
Responsible.
Structured.
Intentional.
And because awareness alone does not transform a family.Insight must become structure.
Structure must become practice.
And practice, repeated over time, becomes part of the family's culture and legacy.
ONE QUESTION TO CONSIDER
If your current family patterns continued unchanged for another generation, would you be comfortable calling the result your legacy?
Whether we think about it or not, we are building something that someone else may eventually inherit.
Come ready to examine what is standing, identify what has become vulnerable, preserve what is worth carrying forward, and begin rebuilding what your family will need for the future.
What you intentionally build today will become part of someone else's inheritance tomorrow.
