Innovation Under Sail — The Eagle, the Coast Guard & the Marine Startup Ecosystem
Some moments are worth stopping for. The arrival of the USCGC Eagle in Boston Harbor during Sail250 is one of them. For 250 years, America's maritime tradition has been defined by courage, service, and the drive to explore what lies beyond the horizon. On July 13, MassChallenge invites you to honor that tradition while looking boldly at what comes next.
This invitation-only reception brings together philanthropic, civic, and business leaders alongside senior representatives from the U.S. Coast Guard for an evening that is as much about the future as it is about the past. You will hear directly from Captain Kristopher Ensley, the 31st Commanding Officer of the USCGC Eagle, whose career spans law enforcement missions, congressional affairs, and the training of America's next generation of Coast Guard officers. His remarks will connect the enduring values of service and seamanship to the challenges and opportunities Boston's innovation community is taking on right now.
You will also meet MassChallenge founders working at the frontier of maritime resilience, defense technology, and ocean innovation. Their work is a reminder that Boston is not just a city with a remarkable past; it is a global hub for the technology that will define the next 250 years.
Arrive ready to connect. The network in this room, founders, funders, civic leaders, and senior military officers, does not assemble often. Join us on the waterfront and be part of a conversation that matters.
