Embodied Decision Making
For generalists, one of the hardest things can be figuring out which endeavors to prioritize, when to take next steps, and when to leave something that isn't working.
One approach is to attempt reasoning it out through values, objectives, and pros/cons lists, but this form of reasoning often only carries so far.
Many times we're reasoning at the same time we're ignoring key signals from the body like exhaustion, upset gut, elevated nervous system, headaches, or other areas of persistent pain and discomfort.
Culturally, very few of us are taught to seek alignment between our whole body, gut, heart, and mind. This workshop will ground you in the complete picture of how to listen to signals from each of these parts.
What does a curious, and engaged mind feel like versus one that is caught in loops of anxiety and control? What's the felt quality of the heart being open and excited? How does it feel for the nervous system to be safe and playful? What's it like for the gut to feel powerful rather than overwhelmed?
You'll walk away with some basic exercises to feel into your own grounded alignment. We'll also do some live coaching to demonstrate feeling through decisions from an embodied place.
