High Conviction Happy Hour
Where startups get the feedback investors won't give them.
Overview:
Most startup events celebrate momentum. We interrogate it.
High Conviction Happy Hour is a quarterly, invitation-only event hosted by Traction Lab where two founders pitch live to the Traction Lab Review Board — a curated panel of operators, investors, and builders who apply the same evidence-based rigor we bring to every company we work with.
No polite nods. No vague encouragement. No "love the energy."
The Review Board pressure-tests assumptions, dissects business models, and exposes the risks founders need to hear about before investors do. It's direct. It's constructive. And it's the kind of feedback that actually changes outcomes.
The room is filled with a curated community of high-conviction founders and operators who believe startups should be built on evidence, not vibes. This is not a networking happy hour with name tags and small talk. It's a room full of people who take building seriously.
What to expect:
Two live founder pitches followed by structured teardowns from the Traction Lab Review Board. Each startup gets the honest, assumption-level feedback that most founders never receive until it's too late. After the pitches, the room opens up for drinks, conversation, and the kind of real talk that only happens when everyone in the room shares the same standard.
Who this is for:
Founders building with conviction. Operators who think in evidence. People who would rather hear "your riskiest assumption is wrong" over drinks than discover it after burning six months of runway.
