About the speaker
Originally from Kazakhstan and now based in Lisbon, Anel Imanbay has a diverse professional background that spans financial economics, education, gaming, and beauty. Starting her career as a financial analyst at EY, she quickly became known for her ability to bridge business and creative interests. Throughout her career, she has partnered with industry giants such as Tencent, Samsung, Meta, Google, Snapchat, and EY, leveraging these relationships to enhance her entrepreneurial and advisory endeavors. As an author under the pen name Imani Cortez, she penned the U.S. children’s book, 'Her Name Was Flower, which became an amazon bestseller. Besides being serial entrepreneur, she recently organised the largest English speaking TEDx conference in Portugal - TEDxMarvila with thousand attendees.
