​Croatia Uncorked: Wines of Dalmatia on the Water

​Join Mirena Bagur of Croatian Premium Wine and Stephen Nasiatka of StephenUncorked for a very different kind of Croatian wine evening, this time aboard a private houseboat in Charlestown.

​We’ll spend the evening exploring the wines of Dalmatia, one of Croatia’s most distinctive wine regions, through a curated lineup of wines paired with smaller bites designed for tasting, sharing, and discovery.

​Expect native Croatian grapes, unfamiliar names, great stories, and wines many guests will be experiencing for the very first time. As always, the goal is not a formal lecture, but an evening that is fun, educational, social, and memorable.

​And this one comes with a pretty spectacular setting.

​We’ll be gathering on the upper deck of the houseboat, timed to coincide with sunset over the harbor. The combination of Croatian wine, smaller bites, and a late-September evening on the water should make for a particularly special night.

​Prompt arrival is important. Our goal is to bring the group aboard together, so please plan to arrive a few minutes early and be ready to join us promptly at 6:00 PM.

​There is a short walk from the entry point to the boat, followed by stairs up to the upper deck. Please note that the boat and upper deck are not handicap accessible.

​Please note: this is a shine-only event.

​Because we’ll be outdoors on the upper deck of a houseboat, the event is weather dependent and will only take place if conditions allow us to enjoy the evening safely and comfortably. We’ll communicate directly with registered guests if weather requires a change of plans.

​Price: $120 per person, all-inclusive. I will reach out approximately one week in advance to collect payment.
