Rebel Princess Community Family Day

​The Rebel Princess Community is a curated membership for families in Berlin who are raising daughters to be the heroes of their own story. We have been piloting with small monthly meetups and 20 families have attended so far. We are now opening the doors for others to join via the Family Day.

​The idea is female-first programming at a critical age, when girls start absorbing what mainstream media says a "girl's story" looks like: usually about being rescued, being liked, or being pretty. We counter-program by giving girls chances to experience activities they are usually steered away from, and by defaulting to female icons and protagonists in examples, Marie Curie instead of Einstein or Newton, in our workshops.

​1:00pm - Breakout sessions: a) Science Lab or Makers Lab for the kids , b) Fireside chat on AI & Social Media for the parents
