​But for one night, we're pretending they do.

​Join us for Bad TED Talks Conference, where the only rule is to present a topic you're wildly passionate about—no matter how ridiculous, niche, or unnecessary it may be.

​Want to convince everyone that birds aren't real? Present a conspiracy theory you've spent way too much time thinking about? Reopen a decades-old true crime case? Rank every pasta shape? Explain why your favorite reality TV contestant deserved to win? Go for it.

​You can volunteer to give your own 15-minute Bad TED Talk or sit back and enjoy the conference from the audience. Every presentation is followed by audience voting, Q&A, and debates that somehow become even more entertaining than the talks themselves.

​The more committed you are to the bit, the better.
