🚀 Pitch your startup to Korea's early-stage investors! Startup 815 IR is a stage-matched investor pitching session for KSGC program participants. Round 2 is for Seed to Pre-A startups.
💡 ABOUT THE EVENT
Looking for investment to grow your business in Korea? Startup 815 IR connects promising global startups with investors who are actively looking for their next deal. Each session is organized by investment stage, so you pitch to investors who invest in companies at your stage. It's a great chance to meet potential investors, build connections, and sharpen your strategy for entering the Korean market.
🤝 WHO YOU'LL PITCH TO
10 early-stage investment professionals will review your pitch, including:
✅ Accelerators
✅ Early-stage VCs
✅ TIPS operators
✅ General partners of individual investment associations
All reviewers can follow an English pitch and ask questions in English.
💬 What is TIPS? TIPS is a Korean government-backed program in which selected investors fund and mentor early-stage tech startups.
🗂️ HOW IT WORKS
1️⃣ Apply & Screening: Submit your application. We review all applicants and select up to 8 startups.
2️⃣ Pitching: Each startup gets a 15-minute slot: 5 minutes of IR pitching in English + 10 minutes of Q&A. Pitching order is decided by a draw, and the timer is strictly enforced. ⏱️
3️⃣ Feedback: Every startup receives an individual feedback report from the investors by Nov 12.
4️⃣ Follow-up Meeting: If an investor wants to take a closer look, we'll arrange a 15-minute 1:1 meeting within 2 weeks of the session. Investment terms are discussed directly between you and the investor.
📡 LIVE STREAM
The IR sessions will be streamed live for members of the pitching teams who can't attend in person. The streaming link will be sent only to the selected startups, so please do not share it outside your team. 🔒

Proof of your investment stage (e.g. investment agreement, shareholder register, or investment confirmation letter)
Your IR deck in English, covering: Problem, Solution, Market, Business Model, Traction, Team, and Fundraising Plan
🔍 SELECTION CRITERIA
✔️ Stage fit: Your latest round and target round fall within Seed to Pre-A
✔️ IR deck quality: All 7 key elements are included, backed by data
✔️ Fundraising plan: Clear target round, amount, timing, and use of funds
⚠️ Applications that fall short on any one criterion will not be selected, even if seats remain.

🔸 This is a selection-based program, so not all KSGC companies can take part. For this reason, it does NOT count toward your attendance.
