Data for Peace Conference 2026 | In-Person, 15-16 June
Data for Peace 2026 (15-17 June) is a three-day conference connecting researchers, peacebuilders, policymakers, data providers, humanitarian actors, and peace technologists to strengthen how data and technology supports violence prevention, anticipatory action, and crisis response.
The two in-person days in Stockholm on 15-16 June (max. 120 people) will be live-streamed, followed by a fully virtual day on 17 June to broaden participation and create space for candid feedback and work-in-progress exchange. All sessions will be held in English, with recordings made publicly available after the event.
Conference participation is open to all and free of charge. In-person participants must however cover their own travel expenses; we are unfortunately not able to provide travel stipends this year.
This event page concerns general audience registration for the in-person component of the conference. Speakers will receive a separate link and do not need to register here.

Data for Peace 2026 is co-hosted by the Department of Peace and Conflict Research at Uppsala University, the NYU Center on International Cooperation (NYU-CIC), and AI for Peace. It is made possible with generous support from the Complex Risk Analytics Fund (CRAF’d) and its partners, Folke Bernadotte Academy (FBA) and the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
