Beaujolais & Baguettes: Nouveau Day at Pinnacle!

​Every year on the third Thursday of November, the first wine of the new vintage is released in Beaujolais, and the whole region throws a party. At Pinnacle we’ve always treated Nouveau Day as the real start of the holiday season, and this year we’re celebrating with two things that belong together: fresh bread and young Beaujolais.

​Jen’s Artisan Bread will be set up in the shop selling fresh-baked baguettes and other accoutrement. The last time she joined us for this she sold out well before the end of the night!

​Anastasia Benson of Bowler Wine will be pouring Jean-Paul Brun’s Terres Dorées L’Ancien Nouveau, the one Nouveau we look forward to every year. Brun skips carbonic maceration for traditional Burgundian winemaking, and the result has all the exuberance of Nouveau with real structure and spice. We’ll also have a few of our favorite cru Beaujolais open, to show the full range of the region.

​Admission is free, but reservations are required. Choose a 3 PM, 4 PM, or 5PM arrival window when you register, then taste at your own pace and take home whatever you love.
