Your ticket directly supports professional women outdoor guides who are building careers in an industry that has historically been male-dominated. We believe outdoor leadership should reflect the diversity of the people enjoying our parks and trails, and we're excited to work with guides who are helping make that happen.
FAQ
Do I need to know how to swim?
Yes! Although life jackets will be provided, it is highly recommended you know how to swim.
Is kayaking an option?
Standup paddleboards will be the default rental option. There may be kayaks but will depend on day-of availability.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Due to the small group size and the upfront commitment of ordering your shoe size, we have a strict NO REFUND policy for this event.
If Girls Gone Hiking cancels the trip due to unsafe weather or other unforeseen circumstances, participants will have the option to transfer their registration to another available weekend or receive a full refund.
Can I arrange my own transportation instead?
You're welcome to meet the group at Croton River if that's more convenient for you. However, the trip price remains $55 regardless of whether you use the provided transportation since it mostly goes towards our guides.
Is this trip dog-friendly?
