A World Mental Health Day Rooftop Yoga Class ๐
โIn honor of World Mental Health Day, Girls Who Meet is coming together with Sunset Park Community Services for a special morning dedicated to movement, connection, and taking care of our minds just as intentionally as we take care of our bodies.
โJoin us on the rooftop at Moxy Chelsea for an all-levels vinyasa flow led by Brooklyn-based yoga teacher and yoga therapist Anna Beth Rousakis.
โThis class integrates mindful movement, breathwork, and guided meditation to cultivate strength, balance, and ease. Move at your own pace, reconnect with yourself, and spend the morning surrounded by a community that believes no one should have to navigate the harder moments of life alone.
โA morning with a bigger purpose ๐ค
โProceeds from this event will be donated to @weareenough, an organization supporting mental health and working to remind people of something we all need to hear sometimes: you are enough.
โEvery guest will also receive an ENOUGH keepsake to take home. Purchases from ENOUGH directly support their mission, so your keepsake is more than a gift โ it represents support for the work they are doing in mental health.
โWeโll also be sipping beverages from @sharegracefarms post-workout while doing what we do best: CONNECTING ๐ + because it wouldnโt be a GWM event without a few extras, expect some little self-care treats for everyone โจ
โCome move, breathe, connect, and help us turn one morning of community into something that reaches beyond the rooftop!!!
โMeet Our Yoga Instructor: Anna Beth Rousakis
โRooted in the belief that yoga benefits people of all ages, shapes, and abilities, Anna Beth's classes foster an environment that encourages students to get curious, listen to their bodies, and craft a practice that allows them to live more comfortably within themselves.
โHer teaching is grounded in alignment, balance, and the healing connection between mind, body, and spirit. Through mindful movement, breathwork, meditation, and deep relaxation, she facilitates respect for the body's physical and mental abilities and its capacity for growth and renewal.
