You make decisions every day — about work, relationships, risk, money, love, time. Beneath each choice is a quiet philosophy. Assumptions about reality. Beliefs about what matters. A hierarchy of values. A story about what makes a life worthwhile.
In this 2.5-hour interactive workshop, Live By Design: Building Your Personal Philosophy, you’ll begin articulating the worldview that is already shaping your life — and decide whether it’s one you want to keep.
This is not an abstract lecture. It’s a practical lab for thinking clearly about what you believe and why.
By the end of the session, you will:
– Identify the core beliefs influencing your decisions
– Clarify your top values — and how you prioritize them when they conflict
– Articulate a preliminary ethical and relational stance (what you owe to yourself and others)
– Define a working statement of purpose or direction
– Leave with a draft “bare-bones” personal philosophy you can refine over time
What we’ll do:
We’ll start with real decisions and dilemmas from your life — moments of pride, conflict, or regret. Then we’ll reverse-engineer the beliefs beneath them. From there, we’ll explore key philosophical dimensions: your assumptions about reality, how you determine truth, what you believe makes an action right or wrong, what you value most, and how you interpret struggle.
You’ll reflect individually, engage in structured discussion, and synthesize your thinking into a clear, written framework you can evolve.
You don’t need a background in philosophy. You need curiosity, honesty, and a willingness to examine your own assumptions.
Because living by design doesn’t start with productivity hacks.
It starts with knowing what you believe — and choosing it consciously.
