Meet Our Panel
Ioana Hasan
Ioana Hasan co-founded SmartBill and co-wrote the first version of the software in 2007 while she was still a Computer Science student. She now focuses mainly on product management and UX. SmartBill has since become the first business ecosystem in Romania, with over 150k customers.
In 2016 SmartBill received an investment of 1 million euros from 2 well known VC Funds and in 2019 Norwegian company Visma Software acquired SmartBill.
Georgiana Olaru
Georgiana is the Senior Director of Digital Product and Country Leader for Romania at Wiley, one of the world’s largest publishers and a global leader in research and learning.
With over a decade of experience in product management and leadership, she has a proven track record of driving innovation and delivering impactful digital solutions. Before her current role, Georgiana served as Chief Product Officer at Hindawi (now part of Wiley), where she led product strategy and innovation. She also built and scaled product teams at Pentalog.
Irina Scarlat
Builder, entrepreneur at heart, product marketer and growth leader, Irina Scarlat has a strong track record of success in scaling tech products and driving growth. Throughout her career, she has built growth and marketing functions for high growth companies such as Uber, Revolut, or Bitpanda, leading cross-functional teams to achieve measurable business impact. With an experience spanning across multiple industries and business models, Irina thrives solving problems at the intersection of data, product, and marketing.
Prior to embarking on the hyper-growth journey, she founded a marketing agency working with tech startups, as well as an NGO doing entrepreneurship education programs for the youth. She is a global citizen who has been living, studying & working in eight cities across Europe and the United States, she is a serial learner, avid reader, curious traveller, and the mom of a 5 years old dragon.
The panel will be followed by a short reflection activity, where you will have some dedicated time to consider your own career goal, as well as what specific actions and thoughts you are walking away with from the session that can help you progress your goal.
We will then have the opportunity to talk and network for a few minutes.
