Small Dev Sac: October Meetup

Small Dev Sac is a monthly gathering for the people shaping Sacramento’s neighborhood-scale housing and development future.

Join small developers, designers, builders, planners, lenders, property owners, advocates, and curious locals for an informal evening of conversation, connection, and shared learning.

For our October meetup, Robert Ng, Founder of Missing Middles, will introduce the Three & Up Design Challenge and share how the initiative is testing Sacramento’s evolving Missing Middle Housing framework against real sites, real constraints, and development feasibility.

We’ll also have a brief policy discussion with Varun Arora, board member of House Sacramento, on proposed changes to Sacramento’s FAR framework and what those changes could mean for small developers.

The goal is to bring policy, design, and development perspectives into the same room and hear directly from people working to get small projects built.

Whether you are actively working on a project, looking to get started, or simply interested in how more attainable, walkable neighborhoods get made, you are welcome here.

Come grab a cider, meet people doing thoughtful work in the region, and help build a stronger local community around small development.
