Shipaton Build Session with Bilt.me
EUCOSSA club presents From Idea to App Store with Bilt.me and Revenuecat.
Shipaton is an annual build sprint for founders who want to ship a real mobile app, not a mockup. In this session you’ll use Bilt.me to generate production ready React Native apps, preview them live, monetize with RevenueCat or PayHero for payments and subscriptions. This session is meant to help you publish your app on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Built for beginner, intermediate, and experienced founders. Come as a team or Solo, any that works for you. You describe the product; Bilt writes native-ready code, gives you a live preview, and helps you iterate in chat. No Mac or Xcode required to start.
What you’ll do
Build a shippable MVP with Bilt.me and the Bilt quickstart
Test on a real phone with Expo Go
Add in app purchases oor subscriptions with RevenueCat (RevenueCat docs with Expo)
Integrate PayHero for M-Pesa, paybill, till, and bank collections (PayHero · developer docs)
Understand App Store / Play submission, credits, and how this build can feed into Shipaton 2026
Instructions
Before September 4th at 2pm ensure to:
Signup for the Shipaton with your official Student email. Don't use Google auth, use your Egerton email. Reason: we will be providing discounts based on student emails.
Create your Revenuecat account to accept payments.
Create a Bilt.me, Create a script to describe your product, and what you want to solve.
Try understand how to use the products stated above, read documentation, Bilt will provide credits to help us improve your product.
