We’re starting something of our own. A space to move together, build community, and grow stronger — one run at a time.

Never been on a community run before? Getting back into running? Or simply looking for a space to move and connect? You’re welcome here! No need to be fast or experienced. We move together, at our own pace, and make sure nobody is left behind.
What to expect?
🔥 Kick-off warm-up (10 minutes)
We’ll get our bodies moving and prepare for the run with a warm-up led by me, Laura!
🏃🏿♀️ A beautiful 5 km run through Lichtenberg
We’ll run together, at our own pace, taking up space in the streets and making our presence visible. No pressure to be fast — this is about moving together, not competing.
🧘🏾 Shake-out & cool-down
After the run, we’ll take some time to stretch, shake out our bodies, and wind down together.
Why are we doing this?
This is more than running. It’s about creating space for ourselves, connecting with each other, and building strength through movement.
While running clubs are popping up all over the city, often in neighbourhoods far removed from the everyday realities of marginalized communities, we want to bring that energy to our own spaces.
We don’t need to fit into someone else’s running culture. We can create our own.
This is a space exclusively for Black people to move, connect, breathe, laugh, and build community together. A space where we can show up as we are, support one another, and grow stronger — physically and collectively.
Let’s reclaim the streets, strengthen our connections, and build something that belongs to us. 🖤
