🚆 Getting There
If you are commuting, you can take the CCN Newcastle Interchange via Strathfield Train from Central Station, Platform 6 at 8:18am and get off at Woy Woy Station at 9:35am. Then, you will take the 54 Woy Woy Bus at Woy Woy Station, Stand E at 9:51am and get off at Bay St opp Meroo Ave and walk to Patonga Beach.
Going back, you can catch the 55 Gosford bus back to Woy Woy Station at 2:59pm, 3:29pm, 3:59pm, 5:02pm until 9pm. You can stay at Umina Beach for a swim/beach if you have time to spare.
🚗 Driving
You can park at either Patonga Beach or Umina Beach. However, please note that this is a point to point track so you would have to arrange transport back to your car if you choose to park at Patonga Beach.
🥾 Hike Overview
This scenic coastal walk takes you from Patonga to Umina, with beautiful bushland, beach views and plenty of variety along the way 🌿🌊
In spring, keep an eye out for Waratahs blooming along the trail. Finish the adventure around Umina or Ettalong, where you’ll find beaches, cafés and plenty of spots to relax after the walk.
