​Why This Summit

​People have been building cities for close to ten thousand years. Aristotle once reasoned humans “remain together for the sake of the good life.” This paradigm remains true especially now, as the tools for enhancing living conditions develop faster than most institutions can absorb.

​GovTech Smart Cities Conference is where that argument gets deconstructed: government, industry, and the people — in the same room, on equal footing — ideating, debating, and creating innovative solutions for systems that need to modernize. The discussions we are curating here — about artificial intelligence, data, mobility, and public money — are shaping the trajectory of the future. That is why we invite you to join us.

​Aligned with several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including SDG 17 — the UN goal prioritizing the need for government, industry, and the public to share technology and solve public problems anchored in shared human goals — we measure the summit by what comes out of it afterward - the outcomes.
