​Welcome to The Socially Haunted, a low-pressure social afternoon at Long Dark House for readers, horror lovers, sci-fi fans, gamers, introverts, extroverts, artists, movie people, fandom people, and anyone looking to meet some new people.

​And yes, coming alone is encouraged.

​We created The Socially Haunted for the person who wants to make new friends but isn't exactly thrilled by the idea of walking into a room full of strangers and figuring out what to say.

​This isn't networking.
It isn't speed dating.
There's no assigned reading.
And you don't need to be great at small talk.

​We'll have conversation prompts, games, recommendation boards, and other easy ways to break the ice. Participate in as much or as little as you'd like. You can also just grab a drink, browse the shelves, and see where the day takes you.
