Learn how to map your value proposition, customer segments, revenue streams, and key operations onto a single page. You’ll leave with a clear, flexible blueprint that helps you adapt quickly, align your team, and build a stronger startup with confidence.
About the Speaker:
Greg Horowitt | Director of Innovation Design, UC San Diego | horowitt
Greg Horowitt is Founding Partner of T2 Venture Creation and a co-author of ‘The Rainforest: The Secret to Building the Next Silicon Valley’. He presently serves as the Director of Innovation Design at the University of California, San Diego. He is a consultant to development organizations including the World Bank, OECD, USAID, Aspen Institute, and the National Academies of Science. In addition, he is a Kauffman Fellow and a Senior Fellow with the Global Federation of Competitiveness Councils. He previously served as an executive with a Berkshire Hathaway operating company for nearly twenty years
Directions
This event is located on the first floor of the Design and Innovation Building (DIB). The entrances are located across from the Structural Materials and Engineering building or next to the UC San Diego Central Campus Station bus and trolley stop.

MTS Trolley
The easiest way to get to the DIB is by taking the MTS trolley UC San Diego Blue Line and getting off at the UC San Diego Central Campus stop. The trolley stop is a short 1 minute walk to the DIB.
Parking
Public transportation is highly recommended as parking is limited on campus. If you plan to drive to campus, please give yourself plenty of time. You can download the ParkMobile app to pay for your space digitally once you find a spot.
