Self-Care for Activists: How to Prevent Empathy Fatigue
✨ Event description
Those of us who advocate for animals live with suffering every day, and that exposure leaves a mark: exhaustion, guilt, disconnection. Empathy fatigue is not a personal failure, but a predictable consequence of this work. In this workshop, we will explore how it affects our mental health, practice a guided meditation, and share as a group how to sustain our activism without burning out. No prior experience needed.

🎯 Event Objectives

  • Understand how empathy fatigue affects our mental health

  • Practice a guided meditation

  • Share as a group ways to sustain our activism without burning out
