Matt Venuti: Music & Sound Alchemy at the Carriage House
The Carriage House is a private residence in Pittsburgh's South Side — not on Google Maps, not open to the public. Most evenings it's quiet. This isn't most evenings.
Matt Venuti is a national touring multi-instrumentalist and an early pioneer of the Electronic Valve Instrument (EVI) breath synthesizer and the Hang — the instrument that inspired the modern handpan. A set includes Himalayan bowls, Waves instruments, the Huaca triple-chambered ocarina, Gemini Bells, guitar, and his own distinctive vocal style. No AI. No backing tracks. Decades of live performance in high-profile venues and immersive sonic spaces.
