The Bayou Collective: Info Session & Onboarding for Prospective Members

​This session is for people who want to give with us and become members. If you lead a nonprofit and are looking for grant information, please register for our nonprofit info session on April 14, 2027.

​The Bayou Collective Giving Circle pools our money to fund Black-led organizations across the greater Houston region. In our first Giving Season, 18 Full Members and 40 donors raised $31,268 and funded five organizations.

​Now we're building our second Giving Season, and we'd love for you to be part of it. There are two ways to give with us. Full Members give $1,000 or more and vote on which organizations we fund. Ally Members give any amount up to $999.

​Here's how the hour works:

​6:00–6:30 PM CT | Info Session. Learn how the circle works, how members give, how grant decisions get made, and what we fund. Bring your questions.

​6:30–7:00 PM CT | New Member Onboarding. If you decide to join, stay on. We'll walk you through next steps so you can get started that night.

Come for the full hour, or join only the 30 minutes you need. If you're still exploring, come at 6:00. If you've already decided to join, come at 6:30.
