SGC Salons - Practical Routes into Property Investing
Property is one of the most talked-about assets in any wealth conversation, but the route in is rarely as straightforward as “buy a home and wait.”
This Salon explores property as an investment. We’ll get into the different ways to build property exposure beyond traditional home ownership: buy-to-let, short-lets and Airbnb models, pooling resources with others, passive investment structures, and commercial property. Not all of these routes require the same capital, the same involvement, or the same risk tolerance, and most people never interrogate which one actually fits them.
The conversation will be practical and honest: what makes property genuinely attractive as an asset, what risks tend to get glossed over, what each model actually requires from you as an investor or operator, and where the real returns are versus where they just sound good on paper.
First-time buyers will get value, but this is primarily a conversation for women who want to think more critically about property as part of a broader ownership strategy.
Joining us are Mr Bayo Arowolo and Mrs Seun Arowolo, who bring extensive experience in property investing across the UK and Nigeria.
