About the speaker
I am with a diverse background and a passion for applying my skills in new and innovative ways. The diversity made it challenging to have a clear carrier path from early on. However, life randomness played it much better than my head trying to optimize the multi-objective problem of my interest.
Originally from Iran, I completed my bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering before specializing in applied mechanics in Sweden, where I graduated in 2014. For the next five years, I immersed myself in the dynamic field of the automotive industry, with a particular focus on crash simulation analysis. However, my insatiable curiosity led me to Germany in 2019 to start a new journey - pursuing a Ph.D. in Applied AI with a focus on crash simulation knowledge graphs.
Here's the scoop on the personal side. Life enthusiast? I'm all about soaking up the essence of life, chasing those fresh inputs, and riding the flow of impermanence. Lifelong learner? Absolutely, and I can make you board with my passion for personal growth books. Speaking of connections, my journey into AI revealed a surprisingly cool link between my philosophy of life and cognitive science. Who knew?
Let's not forget the fun part! When I'm not in logical brain mode, I'm on a wild ride of free artistic expression - a dance/painting meditation that allows me to tap into creativity. Nature is my Zen garden and I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm a bit of a runner addict. I can't resist the pavement calling me. And in 2024, missing this became my challenge.
