Long before Dan became CEO of Cuvaison Estate Wines, he was the son of Gino Zepponi, one of the co-founders of ZD Wines and a true Napa Valley OG. Under his father’s guidance Dan immersed himself in wine from day one. Before he could drive a car he was “learning to drive tractors, prune, fill barrels, run the crusher, do lab analysis—you name it.”
In this fireside chat, Dan talks with Melier CEO Greg McBeth about life growing up during Napa Valley’s rise to prominence, his experiences as a longtime wine executive and entrepreneur, his recent work with Melier, and his recommendations for anyone who’s planning a trip to Napa Vaalley when COVID’s grip finally relents.
