Why Attend?
The workshop will feature interactive forensic psychiatry case studies led by Dr. Kaitlyn Gronauer and Dr. Morgan Garner who are currently working on their fellowship in forensic psychiatry at Prisma health. Teams of bigs and littles will work together on cases in forensic psychiatry to assign the verdict of guilty or not guilty. Attendees will also learn about clinical reasoning, psychiatric evaluation of criminal responsibility, ethical decision-making, and how mental health intersects with the legal system. Whether you’re curious about forensic psychiatry or just exploring potential medical specialties, this session offers a great opportunity to learn from professionals in the field.
