Shroudmaking and Death Meditation
Step into a space of reflection, creation, and community at the Maas Building on Sunday November 9th from 2-4pm.
Join Philly Community Deathcare for an afternoon that bridges imagination, ritual, and the deep acknowledgment of life’s impermanence.
We will begin with an Exquisite Corpse warm-up, led by Philly Community Deathcare member Ask Nicely, inviting collaborative creativity to open our minds and hearts.
Then, Carley Simone, practicing end-of-life doula, will guide us through a death meditation a gentle, reflective practice to explore our relationship with endings, transitions, and the life we carry.
Lastly, we will end with shroudmaking where you can BYOS (bring your own sheet) or use linen provided by the PA Flax Project.
