Shroudmaking and Death Meditation

​Step into a space of reflection, creation, and community at the Maas Building on Sunday November 9th from 2-4pm.

​Join Philly Community Deathcare for an afternoon that bridges imagination, ritual, and the deep acknowledgment of life’s impermanence.

​We will begin with an Exquisite Corpse warm-up, led by Philly Community Deathcare member Ask Nicely, inviting collaborative creativity to open our minds and hearts. 

​Then, Carley Simone, practicing end-of-life doula, will guide us through a death meditation a gentle, reflective practice to explore our relationship with endings, transitions, and the life we carry.

​Lastly, we will end with shroudmaking where you can BYOS (bring your own sheet) or use linen provided by the PA Flax Project.
