Many of you've read plenty about go-to-market and still don't know what to actually do. This session fixes that in one sitting: your laptop, a startup idea or an existing product, and a real test in front of real people by the time you leave.
We'll walk through each step of the first real go-to-market moves (who you're building for, what you'd say to them, how that turns into words on a page that gets a reaction), and then you do that step yourself, live, on your own idea, before we move to the next one.
By the end, you'll have:
A one-sentence positioning statement you can say out loud to a stranger without flinching
A clear enough read on your first customer that you could name ten real people or companies who fit
Copy for your own landing page, written by you, in the room
A published (or ready-to-publish) page you can actually put in front of real people to see if the idea lands
A short list of exactly what to do the day after
Nobody's judging your idea here, and nobody's pitching to a panel. It's a room of non-marketers doing the unglamorous first steps side by side, with someone walking through each step right before you try it yourself. Bring whatever idea you've been sitting on, even half-formed. You'll leave with a real way to test it.
