​🔥🍷 Mark & Damo’s Joint Birthday BBQ

​Two men. One birthday. Many meats.

​Mark and Damo were both born on 11 June, so we’re celebrating our birthday together with a proper Saturday afternoon BBQ.

​We’ll be hosting at Damo’s in East Dulwich and putting the Kamado Joe to work.

​On the grill

​We’ll provide the main event:

• ​Baby back ribs

• ​Ginger Pig bavette steak with chimichurri

• ​Merguez sausage wheel

• ​Peri-peri spatchcock poussins

• ​Rainbow trout

• ​Halloumi

• ​Corn on the cob

• ​Baba ganoush / smoky aubergine

​Bring something for the table

​Please bring a salad or dessert to share.

​Think summer salads, potato salad, Russian salad, Persian salads, slaws, pavlova, tarte tatin, cheesecake - whatever you’re good at, or whatever Waitrose is good at.

​Not forgetting the World Cup

​At 11pm, we’ll finish with Brazil 🇧🇷 vs Morocco 🇲🇦 in the World Cup — so the BBQ may gradually devolve into meat sweats, football, and deeply informed tactical opinions from middle aged men slowly realising their cardiovascular systems are no longer theoretical ⚽️ 🍽️ ⚔️
