About Event

In this guided VIRTUAL workshop, participants will read, analyze and discuss the article, “Perception in ASL Interpreted Interactions: Consumer Orientation,” Colleen Jones, 2018

Research Corners are small group (limit 20) discussions focusing on an academic article or chapter. We use the article as a guide for discussing topics relevant to the work of interpreters (processes, techniques, psychology, ethics, etc.). Research Corners are INTERACTIVE! :)

The focus article should be downloaded and read in advance of the Research Corner (you are awarded .05 CEUs for doing this).

The focus article is publicly available HERE: https://www.cit-asl.org/new/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/32-jones-2018.pdf

.25 CEUs RID/QAST approved
