Since 2023, Holocene has analysed nearly 800 pan-African climate tech companies, invested in 12, and selected 5 as the focus of this session.
Each is a post-revenue, top performer ready for scale at a valuation we believe is cheap to the market.
Four of the five operate in South Africa — a market many Pan-African investors don't know intimately.
Lastly, Holocene will be serving as Strategic Finance Advisor helping to blend capital thereby increasing runway with less dilution.

Yongeza — builds and operates battery swap stations powering Uganda's electric motorbike fleets
ScootHero — electric motorbikes plus the swap and maintenance network for last-mile delivery in South Africa
Switch — smart meter software and a trading platform for renewable energy in South Africa
Cinergy — battery and solar-charged portable power for film, events, mining, and agriculture
Faro — affordable, surplus-brand clothing at scale across South African retail
