This session is focused on mastering your interview skills, tailored specifically for the UK design job market. We know that applying for roles can be overwhelming, so this session will break things down into clear, actionable steps to help you stand out.
You’ll hear a concise 20 minute talk from our guest speaker Therese Sharp, a design leader with nearly 20 years’ experience in brand, digital, and product design, specialising in hiring and building high-performing teams across global organisations. Afterwards, we’ll open up the floor for a Q&A session.
Our aim is to empower you not just with strategy, but also with encouragement and clarity. So take notes, ask questions, and most importantly, know that you’re not alone in this journey!

Therese Sharp is a design leader with almost 20 years’ experience in brand, digital, and product design, spending nearly half that time hiring and building high-performing design teams for organisations including Walgreens Boots Alliance; Atolls, a global leader in cashback, rewards, and discounts; and Cappfinity, an industry leader in skills-based hiring. She has recruited for in-house and contract roles, reviewed thousands of portfolios, and led countless interviews, giving her a sharp eye for what makes candidates stand out and succeed.
