About Event

Beyond learning tools and running analyses, there is the bigger question of direction: where different roles exist, what they require and how people position themselves over time.

At some point, the question becomes: what does a career in bioinformatics actually look like?

Join us this April for our webinar!

Career Paths in Bioinformatics

This session will focus on how careers in bioinformatics are shaped in practice: across research, industry, and interdisciplinary roles and what it takes to move from learning into real opportunities.

This session is for:
• learners seeking clarity on where they fit in bioinformatics
• students considering a transition into computational biology
• anyone thinking more seriously about their next steps

Who’s eligible?
Anyone curious, beginners and bioifnromatics enthusiasts at different stages are welcome.

In this session, you will learn:
• the different career paths within bioinformatics (academia, industry, research)
• how people transition into the field from different backgrounds
• key skills required for different roles
• practical steps to begin positioning yourself for opportunities

Speaker:
