​Behind every extraordinary startup, there is usually someone who believed before everyone else did.

​Someone who invested when the company was little more than an idea. Someone who opened doors, challenged assumptions, shared experience, introduced key customers, helped raise capital and stood alongside founders through uncertainty.

​That is the role of a business angel.

​The Business Angel of the Year Award celebrates the individuals whose vision, commitment and support have helped shape the Italian innovation ecosystem and accelerate the growth of the next generation of entrepreneurs.

​The Award Ceremony will take place on October 8, 2026 at 5:30 PM, at OGR Torino, as part of Wave by Vento, one of Europe’s leading gatherings of founders, investors and technology leaders.

​The Award is promoted by Club degli Investitori, Italy’s most active angel investing communities and the place where exceptional Italian founders go for strategic capital, deep expertise and significant connections.

​During the evening, the Jury will present three awards:

​🏆 Business Angel of the Year 2026

​🌍 Jury Special Award for the Best International Business Angel

​🌱 Jury Special Award for the Best Impact Business Angel

​The event will also feature conversations with leading entrepreneurs, investors and innovators. The full agenda and guest speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.

​Following the ceremony, all participants are invited to join a networking aperitivo.
