Covenant: Black Faith, AI and the Future
Presented by AfroTech and LIVEFREE USA
AI is moving faster than our conscience.
The rules for how artificial intelligence treats us are being written right now, mostly in rooms we were never invited into.
The Black church has always been where this country goes to find its moral nerve. So during AfroTech’s 10th year, with tens of thousands of Black technologists in Houston, AfroTech and LIVEFREE USA are setting the table. We’re bringing faith leaders, technologists, and organizers together for a night to start writing the moral framework for the world we intend to build.
We call it the Covenant: a living set of commitments, written by the people in the room and carried by Black churches into the age of AI. Houston is the first signing.
