About the Event

An open conversation on bodies, desire, and connection

S-xual health is an essential part of overall health, yet it is still surrounded by silence, stigma, and misinformation. This event creates a safe, guided space to change that, designed to help you better understand your body, your desires, and how you communicate them.

Led by Valentine Blue, a certified s-x coach with 10+ years of experience in s-xual health and community work across Europe, we’ll explore together:

– What actually shapes desire (and why it changes over time)
– How to better understand your body and your relationship to pleasure
– The difference between wanting intimacy vs wanting s-x
– How to communicate needs, boundaries, and consent more clearly
– Why s-xual health is about much more than just sex

This is a space for women and men, as well as all identities and relationship dynamics. We encourage you to come with someone you trust e.g. a partner, friend, or colleague, or join solo. Curiosity is enough.

What to Expect

– An interactive “True or Myth” session to challenge common misconceptions around s-xual health
– Small group discussions (no more than 6–8 people) around different themes
– An anonymous Q&A where you can ask anything

After the session, there will be time to continue the conversation over drinks and explore The Joy Spot space.

You can participate as much or as little as you like. Listening is just as valid as sharing.

You’ll leave with:

– A new understanding of s-xual health as part of your overall wellbeing, not separate or secondary
– More awareness of your body, your pleasure, and your needs
– Tools to communicate more openly about intimacy, boundaries, and consent
– The confidence to approach these conversations with more clarity and less stigma

Space is limited to keep the experience intimate, so reserve your spot early.

The Joy Spot

The Joy Spot is a Lisbon-based space dedicated to pleasure and wellbeing, where everyone can discover what makes them feel good, with curiosity, comfort, and zero judgment. More than a store, it's a meeting point for feeling, learning, and reconnecting with yourself, through open conversations, workshops, and sensory experiences. A space where pleasure is felt.

Valentine Blue

Valentine Blue (she/her) is a certified s-x coach and founder of OddBird with over a decade of experience in s-xual health, harm reduction and advocacy. She has worked alongside s-x workers, people in addiction, and communities on the margins in France and the Netherlands - building a practice rooted in real field experience... not just theory.

Now based in Lisbon, Valentine facilitates conversations and spaces where s-xual health meets pleasure education: grounded, evidence-informed, but also playful and engaging. She works with individuals and communities ready to move beyond inherited narratives and explore s-x, intimacy and relationships in a way that feels true to them, not society's standards.
