About Event

Women's health at work is no longer a "nice to have." With the arrival of ISO 45010, "Occupational health and safety management — Menstruation and menopause in the workplace — Guidance", the world's first International Standard on the subject, supporting employees across every life phase has officially become a benchmark of good business. Join us to understand what this means for your organisation, and how to get ahead of it.

Following a sold-out session last year, 3mbrace Health returns with a practical training for those shaping workplace culture and employee wellbeing.

  • Last year's session scored an 8.6/10 (feedback from 50% of attendees)

  • Companies attended but were not limited to: Stryker, Philips, Deloitte, Nike, SkylineDx, Amazon, Mollie, Mercer, TNO...

  • “A lot can be done without high budget to raise awareness about women health." - attendee, Women's Health at Work, October 2025

Whether you work in HR, People & Culture, leadership, benefits, or are responsible for employee experience, this session will give you the knowledge and tools to better support women across all life phases.

Because healthier employees build stronger organisations.

Women are twice as likely to be on sick leave due to stress compared to men — a trend increasingly visible in the Netherlands. Yet many of the root causes remain unaddressed in the workplace.

From hormonal health and menstrual symptoms, to pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and menopause — women’s health directly impacts energy, focus, and long-term wellbeing at work. And still, it’s often overlooked in organisational strategies.

This training is designed to change that.

What you’ll gain

  • A clear understanding of how women’s health impacts absenteeism, presenteeism, and retention
Insight into the root causes behind rising sick leave among women — including stress and hormonal health

  • Practical strategies to support employees through menstruation, motherhood, and menopause

  • Examples of policies, benefits, and initiatives already working in leading organisations

  • Guidance on how to start — or strengthen — your organisation’s approach to women’s health

What to expect

  • Keynotes from experts in women’s health and workplace wellbeing

  • Real-world insights from organisations implementing change

  • Interactive group work with peers across industries

  • Space for discussion, shared challenges, and practical exchange

  • Networking with professionals shaping the future of work

Who should join

  • HR professionals

  • People & Culture teams

  • People managers and team leads

  • Benefits and well-being leads

  • DEI and organisational development professionals

  • (And anyone working on building healthier, more inclusive workplaces.)

Why this matters

Recent data in the Netherlands shows that women are significantly more affected by work-related stress and sick leave. At the same time, many employees experience health challenges in silence — often without the right support in place.

Organisations that address this proactively don’t just support their people better — they also see improvements in retention, productivity, and long-term engagement.

Partners

We're proud to bring two partners into this session, both doing meaningful work in women's health.

Yoni

Yoni is a Dutch brand making organic cotton menstrual products that are free from plastic and harmful chemicals, alongside a growing focus on vaginal health and education. Every participant will go home with a Yoni product to try. Yoni will also have a representative on-site throughout the session, available for questions and joining the discussions with their experience in women's health in the workplace.

Phase

Phase is a smart planner that connects your wearable and bio data, from sleep and recovery to HRV and cycle, and helps you organise your work around the energy and focus you actually have that day. Built with scientific advisors in women's health, sleep, and neuroendocrinology, it recognises that energy shifts across the cycle and turns that into a real advantage at work. We're bringing their clinical advisor, Dr Annemarieke Doornweerd, PHD, to the stage as one of our speakers. Annemarieke is a psychologist and researcher with a background spanning neuroscience, biology, and clinical psychology.

Want to partner with us?

There's still room to get involved. If your organisation is working on women's health and you'd like to be part of this session, email welcome@3mbracehealth.com and we'll share what's possible.

Getting there 🚆

We'd love for you to join us at Hunkemöller B.V., Koos Postemalaan 8, 1217 ZC Hilversum — "Gateway A" on Hilversum's Media Park. To keep things easy and gentle on the planet, we warmly encourage you to travel by train where you can. The venue is superbly connected.

By public transport (recommended) 🌿
The venue sits right on the Media Park, a 2–3 minute walk from Hilversum Media Park station (a small Sprinter stop — not the main Hilversum Centraal). Four trains an hour run in each direction.

The simplest way to plan door-to-door is the free NS journey planner: https://www.ns.nl/en/journeyplanner — enter your home station and set your destination to "Hilversum Media Park", arriving before 14:00 on Thursday 1 October.

A few rough guides: Amsterdam Centraal and Amsterdam Zuid are around 25–30 min with a change; Utrecht Centraal and Bussum are short, frequent hops; Den Haag, Rotterdam and Eindhoven are reachable with one change (roughly 1–1.5 hrs). Wherever you're coming from, the planner will give you exact times.

Arriving at Hilversum Centraal instead? It's a pleasant ~20-minute walk, or hop on the Media Park bus/shuttle from the station.

By OV-fiets (public rental bike) 🚲
You can rent an OV-fiets straight from the plaza at Hilversum Centraal, a lovely ride to the venue. You'll need an NS/OV-fiets subscription linked to your OV-chipkaart or the app, so set that up beforehand if it's your first time. More at https://www.ns.nl/en/door-to-door/ov-fiets

By car 🚗
Route to the venue: Open in Google Maps. Parking on the Media Park is limited, so if you'd like a parking spot, please email welcome@3mbracehealth.com at least one week in advance, and we'll do our best to reserve one for you.
