🥾 Distance: 5.8 miles | Duration: ~3 hours | Difficulty: Moderate
⏱️ Schedule
9:10 AM: Arrive at 175 St and walk to the George Washington Bridge (GWB) Bus Terminal
9:20 AM: Meet at Platform 4 for Rockland Coaches
9:30 AM SHARP: Bus departs — DON'T BE LATE!
10:00 AM: Get off at Route 9W & Oak Tree Rd, Tappan, NY; Uber/Lyft to the trailhead
10:15 AM–1:15 PM: Hike! 🥾 - hopefully we finish in 3 hours!
1:15–4:30 PM: Lunch and exploring historic Tappan
4:40 PM: Return to the bus stop
4:48 PM: Bus back to Manhattan
🚍 Transportation
Take the uptown A train to 175 St, then follow signs to the GWB Bus Terminal. We'll take Rockland Coaches toward Tappan, NY (~$8.85 one way). Bring cash in small bills ($1s or $5s); drivers cannot accept bills larger than $10. We'll share uber/lyft rideshares to the trailhead at 26 Rockleigh Rd, Rockleigh, NJ.
