Modern Rails is Build on JS - Andrew Bloyce
The Modern Rails stack includes technology like Turbo Frames, Turbo Streams, and Stimulus. But have you ever really looked into how this technology works? In this talk we’ll dive into the source code of each of these technologies to truly understand what is going on. We’ll explore how Rails leverages Web Components and demystify some of the magic by building our own Frames and Streams from scratch. Finally, we’ll learn more about Web Components and how you can use them in your code as an alternative to using an overcomplicated or bloated JS framework.
Who Should Attend:
This meetup is ideal for any Ruby and Rails developers interested in some of the newer areas of the Rails ecosystem. Those looking to implement AI features in their projects, and anyone curious about the intersection of Ruby on Rails and artificial intelligence. As well as those migrating/trying out the Turbo stack and want to get a look at how it works under the hood.
Reserve Your Spot: Join us for an evening of learning and networking. Expand your Rails expertise and meet like-minded professionals in the field.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
