AI Impact Workshop
Talk about AI. Then make something with it.
AI is moving fast, and a lot of us are still figuring out how we feel about it. This is a space to talk about it openly with other people, whether you're excited, skeptical, or somewhere in between. You'll start with small-group conversations about AI, its tradeoffs, and who it affects. Then you'll turn your group's challenge into a prototype in a one-hour Figma Make sprint.

6:00 PM: Check in.
6:15 PM: Introduction and Figma Make overview.
6:30 PM: Conversation 1 — Your Relationship With AI.
Think about a recent moment when AI surprised you, helped you, or made you uncomfortable. What happened, and how did it change the way you think about working with these tools?
6:50 PM: Conversation 2 — Implications and Tradeoffs.
Where do you see AI creating the most value, and where do you see the greatest risks? Who is most affected, and how? What is a tradeoff you think we are not talking about enough?
7:10 PM: Conversation 3 — Framing the Challenge.
Choose one tension or opportunity from your conversation. Who is affected by it, and what would better look like for them? Finish this sentence as a group: "How might we ___ so that ___?"
7:30 PM: Figma Make sprint.
8:30 PM: Share highlights.
8:45 PM: Wrap up.
9:00 PM: Event ends.
