About CAN
The Capital Angel Network (CAN) is an angel investor network made up of alumni from St Paul’s Girls’ School, St Paul’s Boys School, and Hammersmith Academy. As an established alumni community, we have an enviable opportunity to support entrepreneurs from all backgrounds, as well as to ‘give back’ through widening access and increasing bursaries.
CAN will offer founders, alumni or not, access to a network of engaged investors, who are open to providing seed, early-stage or growth capital. These angels will in turn, pledge to donate up to 20% of related proceeds to support the founding mission of the schools that educated them; namely creating bursaries and opportunities for children no matter their background.
Our overriding goal is to build a virtuous flow of new capital between alumni, businesses and schools to fuel growth and expand access. While we’re at it, however, we also want to create some fun and approachable networking settings for the alumni of all partner schools.
Purpose:
Build a virtuous flow of new capital between alumni, businesses and schools to fuel growth and expand access.
Mission:
Through creating a fun and accessible angel network of investment and networking opportunities for alumni of partner schools.
Vision:
Provide capital to fuel the growth of the brightest businesses and minds no matter their background.
